Members of the 19:138 Online Journalism course proposed a photodocumentary project capturing a reflection of life on and around the University of Iowa campus during a 100-hour period from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, 2009.
The 19 students served as the main photography and video corps during the 100 Hours Project. Three assignment editors worked during the course of the 100-hour period to identify a wide range of campus and community activities involving students.
It was no coincidence that the 100-hour period chosen covered both class days and weekend days. It was an added bonus that Halloween and a home Hawkeye football game landed right in the middle of the 100 hours, providing a pair of widely shared student experiences to document for ages to come.
The gallery pages explore the student world around themes of Academics, Community, Landscapes, Daily Life, and of course Football and Night Life.
Thank you for visiting the 100 Hours site. We invite you now to enter the photo gallery and enjoy the work of dozens of students who contributed images and videos to the project.
